Tuition Assistance 2023-24

Thank you for your interest in the Tuition Assistance Program.  We have had such a great response to the tuition assistance program this year with employees embracing opportunities for growth. Unfortunately, the $500,000 limit has been exhausted at this early point in the year.  All applications previously approved will be honored upon completion.  There will be no wait list at this time.

We are currently not accepting any new applications for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year.

Tuition Assistance 2024-25

We are in the process of trying to update the process and have it done in Workday so we will be posting the instructions online as soon as they are ready. The window for Tuition Assistance for the new 2024-2025 school year will open as of July 1, 2024. Please be aware that we cannot go back and reimburse for courses previously started and/or completed.

Please Note:

According to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Benefits for Education, If your employer pays more than $5,250 for educational benefits, you must pay taxes on the amount over $5,250 in a calendar year. Therefore, DCSD will be adding any amount over $5,250, to your gross pay in order to withhold the appropriate taxes and record this as W-2 wages (reported in Box 1 and Box 14).
