UPDATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2021

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, DCSD’s previous COVID protocols will be enforced in our schools. This means that all students, staff, and visitors in all of DCSD’s PK-12 schools will be required to wear face coverings, except for students who have documented medical exemptions from wearing a mask by a Colorado-licensed medical provider.

UPDATE: WEEK OF OCTOBER 25TH

ONLINE APPLICATION WINDOW OPENS AT 7:00AM ON NOVEMBER 1ST FOR THE SPRING/SUMMER 2022:

Sports Organizations - Rental applications will be accepted for dates March 15, 2022 - June 30, 2022

Year-Round Renters - Rental applications will be accepted for the entire 2021 - 2022 school year

**All other rental applications accepted daily**

UPDATE: WEEK OF OCTOBER 11TH

DCSD procedures for masking in schools remain in place with the exception of a new avenue for families to exempt their children from mask-wearing, if desired.

DCSD will continue to require all students, staff, and visitors to wear facial coverings inside our school buildings regardless of vaccination status. There are exceptions, however, for those with either a medical exemption or an exemption pursuant to the new Public Health Order (a signed and dated declaration from a parent/guardian of a child under the age of 18 years). DCSD parents and guardians may submit their written exemption requests directly to their school.

UPDATE: WEEK OF AUGUST 16TH

Effective, Monday, August 23, 2021 - Douglas County School District is requiring any visitor/rental (regardless of vaccination status) to a Douglas County School District building (regardless of grade level served) to wear a face covering/mask indoors.

UPDATE: WEEK OF MAY 17TH

The Rental Office has received many calls about the current public health order surrounding masks.  Currently, the District is moving forward with masks being worn inside the school buildings.

Please remember that the approved rentals are occurring on school property where our main mission is the education and safety of children. Since approving rentals in the school is a site based decision, we strongly suggest all indoor rentals respect the school/District leaders decision in order to allow us to continue serving our community and stay open for non school related events (rentals).

Please let us know if you have any questions.

The Office of Facility Rentals supports our stakeholders by managing use (inside and outside) of our schools within our community. With nearly seventy school sites, we provide a wide variety of space to suit our clients' needs. Our goal is to provide rental space for your organization while controlling costs.

The Office of Facility Rentals is one of the primary contacts between our community and our schools. A wide variety of groups (both non-profit and commercial) utilize our schools seven days a week.

A portion of the rental dollars is shared directly to the school, which gives the school additional funding to further support children's education.

We look forward to working with you and your organization in the near future.
