"Erin McConnell" - I am honored to serve as the principal of Roxborough Primary. I began my career in Douglas County in 2002 as a teacher and had the joy of working at Roxborough Primary from 2007–2011 (with my older son even attending preschool here!).  Coming back “home” to Roxborough as principal feels incredibly special.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in many roles in education, including teacher, assistant principal, Colorado Department of Education RTI Specialist and most recently a literacy coordinator in the district’s Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment department. Each of these experiences has shaped my perspective and deepened my passion for supporting students, families, and staff.  I believe that education is the great equalizer, equipping students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive as successful citizens of the world. 
Outside of school, I love traveling and anything outdoors—mountain biking and skiing are two of my favorite ways to recharge. I am so proud to be part of the Roxborough community, and I look forward to partnering with you to make this an amazing year for our students."

"Laura Maestas" - I started working in DCSD in 1999 and have been at Roxborough since 2002!  I have experience teaching students in a variety of grades, including kindergarten, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade. Since 2018, I have been a part of the administrative team as an instructional coach and IB coordinator. As a parent, I have a deep connection to our school community, with both of my own children having been students here. When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family and traveling to new places.

"Michael Carlson" - Michael (Mike) Carlson is proud to serve as Assistant Principal of Roxborough Intermediate School. He is dedicated to fostering a fun, safe, and engaging learning community built on strong instruction and collaborative partnerships.
Mike holds master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Public Administration. His career in education has included teaching at an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme elementary school, serving as District Accountability and Advisory Council Chair in Englewood, and working as a middle school instructional coach.
A lifelong learner and traveler, Mike studied abroad in Costa Rica and later explored Japan through a Fulbright-Hays study tour sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. Outside of school, he enjoys time with his daughter, traveling, and all things connected to baseball, cars, and the Denver Broncos."
