School Accountability Committee (SAC)
Welcome to Roxborough's School Accountability Committee (SAC) page. Here you will find information about Roxborough's SAC including purpose, agendas, minutes, members and meeting schedule.
In Colorado, it is a statutory requirement for every school to have a School Accountability Committee (SAC). The purpose of the SAC is to inform, encourage and provide opportunities for parent and community members to be involved in the planning and evaluation of the school's instructional program and quality improvement processes.
The Roxborough SAC is comprised of several parents and staff members, a PTIC representative, a non-parent community representative, and our principals. As an accountability committee, we discuss a variety of issues including the school improvement process, safety issues, prioritization of school expenditures, and the School Performance Framework and Unified Improvement Plan
Roxborough SAC meetings are open to the public and are held virtually on Google Meets. We are always seeking new members; all adults are welcome to attend any or all of our meetings.
